leander is so so so heavily associated with the magician tarot card I’m positive that that’s the key to his monstrous nature. his wildly powerful magic, the white lilies, the ouroboros and the infinity symbol in his sticker/charm, as above so below--it all references the magician

upright, the magician is associated with manifestation of results, power, resourcefulness, and action, all things we see in him from introduction! reversed, it is associated with manipulation, misdirection, greed, and unfulfilled potential

homeboy does not like being refused (see: his not giving the flowers to someone else when you refuse them, his reaction to “hold back,” his insistence on being the one to provide the drink) and does not like not being the center of attention (see: how he talks about the others if you answer positively about them)

anyway, I think he’s a machiavellian heel and I’m sooooo excited to see his darkness revealed. some monsters don’t have to have talons or fangs to be truly frightening, after all

Based on a headcannon by @y-make-art about technological luddites of the Glade of Dreams. Makes sense that a world surrounded by magic might not be the most technologically forward thinking place, but adding my own headcannons if Cookie moved into the Glade I feel he’d be the first to try and change that much to The Magician’s chagrin XD

watching 3.08 of the magicians, and I love that they included Harriet’s POV as one of the short stories to focus on. i’m not deaf or hard of hearing, but I do know a little bit of ASL, and I can tell how accurate some of the signing is and it’s wonderful to see. and the fact that they made everything muffled and quiet, like we were hearing it from her ears, was a genius move on the creators part, since that’s something you don’t see enough of in media.

i don’t want to rant on for too long, but this is just another great example of how important media representation can be. she’s not just a sideline character, placed in for bonus points, but she’s a major part of this season and her story arc is well thought out. as flawed as the magicians is, there are some amazing parts about it, and this is most definitely one of them.

Built a 1:1 copy of my irl deck in master duel. Just beat the annoying dark magician deck I hate without taking any damage. Why can't I play this well in real life? Maybe people I play with aren't following the rules as well as a video game does

Normally im very Not into the idea of imagining ships with kids but that said, in Some universe where eventually simon and baz Might decide to have a child or children I absolutely think they would be boy dads. Like i feel like especially simon would love a son to roughhouse with. Baz would impart gentlemanly values and probably be a bit strict but also fair, I’m positive he’d have him all up in all the extracurriculars. And, in keeping with his family traditions, would also want to name it something strange

did you ever have that ubiquitous touhou experience where you were crushed by the angst behind maribel and renko's implied future?

Mmmm, that all depends on what I think Maribel and Renko's implied future even is. I've considered multiple things, but for the most part I haven't really thought that far ahead.

Somewhere down the line, yeah, something actually terrible could happen to Maribel, separating her from Renko. I'm sure it's something Renko worries about. What would she do if Maribel unintentionally spirited herself away somewhere? Chilling to think about really.

However, I'm a bit more positive about the two. Maribel does seem to be getting better at managing her own abilities and Renko cooperates very well with her. Heck, I could imagine in the event the two really do get separated, Renko would try everything in her power to cross boundaries even if she can't observe them herself.

If there's one character who can find someone in the middle of nowhere it'd probably be Renko.
